Dear Just Ask Justine Family,
This is a love note to all my father/mothers out there who think they are alone and do not get the praise they deserve.
Twenty six years ago I celebrated the most joyful date in my life on this planet so far.
I became a mother……
Now I have to admit that it was the scariest day in my life. I was a child of a single parent, a single father who gave me the wisdom and beautiful insight of what parenting was really about.
My Father/Mother listened attentively to my fears, cheers and tears and provided me with as much insight he could provide on pregnancy, breast feeding and changing diapers.
Little did I know that my Father/Mother had an arsenal of sister friends supporting him in supporting me.
I am so thankful for that love.
Out of the lesson I got the message about giving back and supporting those who are often overlooked in their kinship of Father/Mother Club.
So, on this Mother’s Day
Thank you , Daddy for teaching me what a strong woman is, what a giving person actually does, and understanding what a unconditional and pure love consist of.
So to all the Father/Mother I salute you and respect you. You are truly the best of the best and the blessings will come to you in a strange and marvelous way.
Happy Father/Mother’s Day
Remember if no one told you they love you today…. I DO
Always, Justine
