1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The “Click it or Ticket to the BET Awards” contest will begin on Thursday May 1, 2008 at 12 noon and end on Tuesday June 1, 2008 at midnight.
b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s):
On location: Sign the Click it or Ticket Seat Belt Pledge and register to win at participating Wendy’s restaurant locations while WPGC is on site by filling out an entry form with your name, date of birth, email and signature. The dates and times are as follows:

WPGC is not responsible for lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, illegible, incomplete or late entries. Entries must be received by May 29, 2008, 2:30pm.
Online: Agree to the Click it or Ticket Seat Belt Pledge and register online beginning on May 1, 2008 at 12 noon via www.wpgc.com by filling out the registration form with name, phone and email address. Online registration ends on May 29, 2008 at 12 midnight.
Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of WPGC and will not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by WPGC. WPGC’s computer is the official time keeping device for the sweepstakes. WPGC is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all WPGC listeners who are 21 years of age or older and who legally reside in the Maryland, Virginia and DC AREA. Employees of WPGC-FM (the “Station”), its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Maryland, Virginia, DC metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families AND/OR HOUSEHOLDS are ineligible to participate or win. State of Maryland employees are not eligible to win the prize.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.
3. PRIZES
a. One grand prize will be awarded. The grand prize is a trip for two (2) to the BET Awards in Los Angeles, CA on June 24, 2008. Prize includes:
· Roundtrip airfare from DC/MD (exact airport TBD) to Los Angeles, CA
· Hotel accommodations for two (2). Winner is responsible for any incidentals.
· Ground transportation in Los Angeles (roundtrip airport to hotel and roundtrip hotel to awards).
· Two (2) tickets to the BET Awards show
Prize is valued at $1500
Travel companions of winner must travel with winner on the same travel itinerary. Travel companion of the prize winner must be 21 years of age or older. Winner and travel companion are solely responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all forms of insurance) where applicable, at their option, and hereby acknowledge that the Station has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Any winners of certificates/vouchers will be subject to the terms and conditions as set forth by the provider of the certificate/voucher. Grand prize winner and travel companion are solely responsible for all applicable taxes including but not limited to hotel, hospitality and airport taxes, telephone charges, meals, gratuities, and any other expenses not specifically offered herein. Grand prize winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon hotel check-in to cover incidental expenses incurred during stay. Other restrictions may apply. All travelers must possess required travel documents (e.g. valid photo I.D.) prior to departure.
b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
- Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
- Five (5) preliminary winners will be pre-selected from the combined pool of on-site and online entries. These entrants will be notified via telephone and invited to a WPGC event the week of June 2, 2008 for the Grand Prize drawing.
- Grand Prize winner will be drawn and announced at an upcoming WPGC event the week of June 2, 2008 (location and event TBD). Winner must be present to win.
- Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility and/or Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within two (2) weeksof winning on site.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, winner and guest agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
e. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s website or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
f. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WPGC-FM 4200 Parliament Place, Lanham, MD 20706.
