DONNIE SIMPSON’S MORTGAGE WISH

1. HOW TO ENTER
a. The Donnie Simpson Mortgage Wish contest (the “Contest”) will begin on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 6:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) and end on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 6pm ET (the “Entry Period”).
b. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method(s):
MAIL: Beginning on Wednesday, May 14, 2008 mail your entry to WPGC-FM, 4200 Parliament Place Ste 300 Lanham, MD 20706. All entries must be postmarked by Monday, June 2, 2008 to be eligible. Mail entries must include your first and last name, complete address including zip code, telephone number, date of birth, and a brief letter explaining why you need your rent or mortgage paid. In addition to the letter, you will also need to submit a copy of your mortgage statement or lease agreement. For entries by mail, the Station is not responsible for lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries. One letter per envelope when sending by mail.
INTERNET: Internet entries will be accepted beginning Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 6:00 am ET ending on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 12 noon via www.wpgc.com. Enter your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, home telephone number and a valid email address in the online entry form. You must also write a brief letter explaining why you need your rent or mortgage paid in the space provided in the online entry form. In addition to the letter, you will also need to submit a copy of your mortgage statement or lease agreement by attaching a copy. Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. The Station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches. All entries must be submitted by Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 12 noon ET to be eligible. Any entry received after that time will not be eligible to participate or win.
c. One (1) entry per person.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
a. The contest is open to all WPGC-FM listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the Maryland, Virginia and DC area. Employees of WPGC-FM its licensee, its corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, its advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Maryland, Virginia, DC, metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.
c. Must have a valid mortgage and/or rent statement to be eligible.
d. Contestants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
3. PRIZES
b. All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
a. Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.
b. One (1) winner will be selected each weekday during the Contest Period. The Donnie Simpson Morning Show, in their sole discretion, will select one (1) winner per weekday based on which letter they find the most compelling and who they think has the greatest need for the money. Each weekday at or around 8:00 am ET, that day’s winner will be called via telephone. If the winner IS NOT AVAILABLE and does not answer their phone, the Donnie Simpson Morning Show will select an alternate winner based on the same criteria, and will continue to do this until a winner is contacted via telephone.
c. Potential winners must be available by phone weekdays starting on Monday, May 19, 2008 6:00 am ET and ending on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 10:00 am ET to receive a phone call from the Donnie Simpson Morning show.
d. Potential winners must submit a copy of their mortgage statement or lease agreement in order to receive the prize. The prize amount will vary and will depend on the Station's determination of the actual need of the winner, in their sole discretion, and will be based on the letter submitted and the mortgage statement or lease agreement provided.
e. Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by random selection.
5. CONDITIONS
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
d. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Station’s Web Site or is otherwise in violation of the rules. It further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
e. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.
f. Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.
g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Copies of the written contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of WPGC-FM, 4200 Parliament Place Ste 300 Lanham, MD 20706.
