Dear Justine;
I love my boyfriend and he loves me but he does not trust me! I am very active in school and popular too so I have a lot of friends’ girls and guys. He said that he would tell me parents and everybody in school that I have done some sexual acts with him and other people too. My father is a minister and it would kill my father to think I am not a virgin. And Yes, I AM A VIRGIN. My boyfriend says I belong to him and if I truly loved him I don’t need anybody him. Justine, all my life I have done what I am suppose to so I don’t understand why he is acting this way. I am scared to go to my parents but I want out!
Help me please,
Caught Up
Dear Caught Up,
First, let me commend you on choosing to stay a virgin! Now to the question at hand if a relationship makes you feel uncomfortable and you can’t talk to your parents about your fears it is definitely the wrong one for you to be in.
After you have tried to talk to him about why you must stop going with him and told him if he truly loved you he would not be using telling as a mean to keep you with him.
Your parents are there for you and their responsibility is to provide you with guidance and help you thru this. Now granted sometime parents take things out of perspective and yell, screamed and get angry at you but they just scared for you. Sisterfriend, let your parents handle this situation….let them speak to his parents if doesn’t get resolve after you have talked to him about why you must stop going with him.
Always Justine,
Remember if no one told you today they loved you remember I do.
