Half Of R. Kelly Jurors Empaneled
(Chicago, IL) -- Jury selection continues today in musician R. Kelly's child pornography trial. Two days of selection have produced eight of the twelve jurors and four alternates needed to judge Kelly's fate. Half of the eight chosen so far are black, and half are white. On Monday, the defense had raised concerns because the prosecution excluded two African-American potential jurors. Five of the jurors selected so far are women, and three are men. The newest jurors include a married man in his 40s, an investment firm compliance officer, a catholic school's teachers' aide, a female criminal justice student, and a man with prior jury experience. The 41-year-old Kelly is charged with 14 counts of child pornography for allegedly making a sex tape with an underage girl.
Results Of Rude Drivers Survey Released
(Undated) -- A new survey is shedding some light on where the least courteous drivers in the nation can be found. The "Washington Examiner" reports the AutoVantage Road Rage Survey found Miami has the rudest drivers, followed by Boston, New York, Baltimore and Washington, DC. If you're looking for a nicer driving experience, head to Pittsburgh, which topped the list of cities with the most courteous drivers. Also high on that list, Portland, Oregon, Seattle, Minneapolis and Cleveland. The District did take the number one position in one category -- as the area where drivers are most likely to watch other drivers slamming on their brakes at the last possible second.
