
Alena Neves was born in New Bedford, Massachusetts but moved to Washington, DC to attend the Ellington School of the Arts, where she studied theatre. She went on to study Communications and Fine Arts at Howard University.
Alena is a former Miss DC USA who traded her modeling and broadcasting career for acting in the late 1990’s. She moved to LA and was cast in the sitcom Sister Sister as well as other series such as Between Brothers, The Mike Hammer Show and NYPD BLUE.
In 2005, Alena began her radio career hosting a show on DC’s Progressive Talk 1260am called Stacey and Alena. She also lends her voice to various commercials, network announcements and radio promotions.
One of her latest projects includes hosting a music and entertainment news show called “Hip Hop Tonight.”
Alena currently is pursuing opportunities to showcase her talents in radio, TV and film projects in Washington, DC, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
